Overview
The top six Big West squads are set to the court at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, Calif. for The Hawaiian Islands presents the 2024 Outrigger Big West Women's Volleyball Championship.
First-round play begins on Wednesday, Nov. 27. The winners will advance to take on the Nos. 1 and 2 seeds in the semifinal round with the championship match slated for Saturday, Nov. 30. All-session tickets are on sale now, starting at $35 for general admission and $50 for lower reserved. Single-game tickets will be available beginning on Oct. 31. In 2023's inaugural championship event, No. 2 seed Hawai'i swept through third-seeded Cal Poly and No. 4 seed and host Long Beach State to claim the league's automatic big into the field of the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship. The Rainbow Wahine earned an impressive 41st trip to the national postseason in program history. Regular-season champion UC Santa Barbara also earned entry into the national postseason as an at-large squad. It was the 35th time since 1981’s original bracket that The Big West had multiple teams dancing in the field.
