Overview
John P. McDowell Field is home for Franklin College's baseball team during the fall and spring seasons. The stadium was dedicated on October 1, 2000.
The facility received an updated backstop and batting cages.
Franklin hosted the 2009 and 2018 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference baseball tournaments, winning the title with three straight wins in 2018.
John P. McDowell Field is located on Franklin College's Grizzly Park with a large parking lot and picnic gathering area down the right field line.
