The softball facility, part of the Jopson Athletic Complex, was originally constructed in 1996, completely renovated in 1998 with permanent seating, enclosed press box, enclosed dugouts, scoreboard, bullpens, irrigation system for outfield and infield, and batting cages behind the center field fence. A new press box was constructed in 2009. During the summer of 2012, facility upgrades took place to add a warning track, replace the fencing around the field and to upgrade the dugouts.
The softball team also has access to the new indoor hitting facility – built in 2014 and dedicated in 2016. Measuring in at 40' wide x 130' long, the indoor facility includes a 70' hitting cage and another 55' cage with indoor mounds, a 100' net, a carpeted floor and lighting. Finally, the facility is able to be closed or opened during the course of the year with temporary dropped canvas in place for weatherization during the winter months.
Opened March 12th, 1996, the field featured fences 200 feet from home plate down the lines and 215 feet to dead center field. The stands can accomodate a crowd of 210 with ground seating down the left and right field line and behind the outfield fence.
