Before coaching the MIT mens squad, Dill directed the Emmanuel College mens squad to a 12-8 record in its first season of varsity competition. Coach Kip Yoshimura recently completed his 12th season at NCAA DIII Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He has over 35 years of volleyball coaching experience, including 28 seasons as a head collegiate coach where he has amassed an impressive overall record of 446-358. Yoshimura's student-athletes at Pacific University have earned nineteen All-Northwest Conference selections, 81 All-NWC scholar-athletes and seven consecutive AVCA All-Academic team honors (3.64 GPA in 2020-21).
Yoshimura experienced his best success in his nine seasons leading the powerful Lewis-Clark State program in Lewiston, Idaho. From 1993 to 2001, Yoshimura led the Warriors to five NAIA National Tournament appearances, including a national semifinals berth in 1998, as well six conference or regional championships. A six-time AVCA Pacific Northwest Region Coach of the Year and a six-time conference coach of the year, Yoshimura coached 16 NAIA All-Americans, 25 all-region performers, 40 all-conference selections and 13 NAIA All-America Scholar-Athletes. Yoshimura is the winningest volleyball coach in Lewis-Clark State history (251-72). His 1996 team went 35-4, also the best record in Warrior archives. His success at Lewis-Clark State led Yoshimura to Gonzaga, where he led the Bulldogs Division I program for seven seasons (2002-08). During his tenure, Yoshimura coached 10 All-West Coast Conference performers and eight WCC all-academic honorees. His best season was in 2007 when Gonzaga went 17-13, which at the time was the best mark for a Bulldog volleyball team in 14 seasons.
Yoshimura arrived in Forest Grove in 2012 after one season as an assistant coach at Vanguard University, a NAIA school in Costa Mesa, Calif., where helped lead the Lions to an appearance in the 2011 NAIA National Tournament. Prior to arriving at Vanguard, Yoshimura spent one season as an assistant coach at UC Davis. I want each and every student-athlete in my programs to enjoy the whole college experience, Yoshimura says. Part of that is on the court, part of that is certainly in the classroom and part of that is socially on campus. At the same time, we want players who want to win and play at the highest level that they can. We want them to aspire to be better than they are and hopefully as a coaching staff we can provide that opportunity to play on a team where their goals are met.
At the club level, Yoshimura has served as head coach of the 951 Elite Volleyball Club, the Snake River Juniors Volleyball Club, Ogden Juniors Volleyball Club, Huntington Beach Boys Volleyball Club, California Junior Volleyball Club and Inland Empire Volleyball. Yoshimura played junior college volleyball at West Valley College in Saratoga, Calif., where he was a two-year starting setter and an all-conference performer in 1985. He also played one season for the mens club program at San Jose State University. A native of San Jose, Yoshimura graduated from Long Beach State in 1990 with a degree in mechanical engineering.

Andrew Halaz, (pronounced HAL-ez), who has achieved success as a coach within the Great Lakes Valley Conference and also at a pair of NCAA Division I institutions, begins his fourth season as the head volleyball coach at Missouri S&T.
During his first season at the helm of the Miner volleyball program, Halaz led the program to a five-game improvement from the year prior and began the season with a 7-2 start. A year later, he guided the Miners to their best record in four seasons as they compiled a 21-10 record and reached the GLVC Tournament for the first time since 2015. S&T reached the 10- and 20-win marks faster than any season in school history during the 2019 campaign. In his third season, he guided the team to a GLVC West Division Title and finished runner up at the conference tournament.
Halaz began his current duties at S&T on Jan. 28, 2018.
Halaz coached in the GLVC as an assistant at Rockhurst University where he earned his bachelor's degree from in 2008 for four seasons and during that time was involved in several aspects of the program, including scouting, initiating practice plans and assisting with game strategy and instruction. During those four seasons, the Hawks posted a record of 103-34 and reached the NCAA Division II Tournament in each of those years.
Rockhurst had the best regular season record in its final season as a member of the Heartland Conference in 2004, then posted the top mark in its inaugural season in the GLVC a year later. The Hawks won at least 22 games in each of the four seasons Halaz was assisting the program, including a 29-win campaign in 2005.
Halaz left Rockhurst following the 2007 season to become the assistant coach and director of volleyball operations at Saint Louis University, where he spent the next two seasons handling similar duties as he had at Rockhurst as well as working with alumni, social outreach events and fundraising for the program.
In both seasons at Saint Louis, the Billikens won at least a share of the Atlantic 10 Conference regular season championship and made the NCAA Tournament field in both years, advancing to the second round in 2008. The Billikens had a record of 53-13 over those two seasons. Halaz would return to the Saint Louis program in 2015 as a volunteer assistant coach.
Following the 2009 season, Halaz moved on to Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where he was the lead court trainer for the Hoyas and also coordinated the team's summer camps, fundraisers and service projects. In addition, he was the Big East Conference's assistant coach liaison to the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
While at Georgetown, Halaz also became a program coach with USA Volleyball, where he coached A1 and A2 teams at camps and the High Performance Championships. He also coached the Youth National Team Prospects winter training program in 2015.
Since 2014, Halaz has served as the director of marketing and the outdoor director for High Performance STL Volleyball Club in St. Louis, where he has coached one of the club's top teams and has organized the outdoor training program. He has also handled the communication duties with the program's alumni as well as the club's website and social media outlets.

Brian Rosen was named an assistant coach with the Creighton Volleyball program, head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth announced on Friday, Feb. 18. Rosen has spent the past three years as the head coach at Nova Southeastern, and last fall led the Sharks to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2009.
Although it is bittersweet to be moving on from such an amazing group of young women at NSU, I am so excited about this new opportunity that Coach Booth has provided me to join the Bluejay volleyball family, said Rosen. She has created a culture of winning and prioritizing family, which are both so important to me. I look forward to using my strengths and experience to build on all of the success Creighton Volleyball has experienced since Coach Booth and Angie arrived. My family and I cannot wait to be in Omaha!
Rosen arrived at Nova Southeastern in 2019 and guided the Sharks to a 20-13 record in his first season. His program won their final six contests to clinch Nova Southeasterns first 20-win campaign since 2008. NSUs 12 Sunshine State Conference wins were a program record, and a pair of student-athletes were named AVCA All-Americans. His team posted a 3.61 GPA to earn a second consecutive AVCA Team Academic award.
After the 2020 season was cancelled due to COVID-19, Rosens team stormed out of the gate with 13 straight victories to open the fall of 2021. The 19 straight victories (counting the end of 2019) were one of numerous school records set in the fall. NSU established program-best marks for Sunshine State Conference victories (16), and .800 winning percentage in SSC play, best overall winning percentage in the NCAA-era (.828) and most home wins (16).
The 2021 Nova Southeastern squad qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first-time since 2009 and had three Sharks earn AVCA All-American Honors, AVCA All-Region awards, and All-Conference recognition. NSU finished 25-6 overall with a No. 19 year-end ranking in the AVCA poll. The Sharks were one of two teams to defeat eventual national champion Tampa, but the Spartans returned the favor to eliminate NSU in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
What Brian has done at Nova Southeastern, turning around that program, is remarkable, said Booth. He cares about his student-athletes, and I think hell connect really well, not only with our players but with recruits. When you look at our past hires for that position, three of the five have been former head coaches, so clearly, I like people that have been able to navigate their own program and bring new ideas to ours. Were excited for Brian to do that with us.
Rosen joined the NSU coaching staff after spending two years at Davidson College as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator. In his final year at Davidson, Rosen helped improve the Wildcats' hitting percentage by over .100. In addition to coaching for the Wildcats Rosen also served as the Carolina Juniors Club Director, where he coached seven consecutive teams to USAV National Championship bids.
Immediately before joining the Wildcats, Rosen served as the head coach at Providence (N.C.) High School, producing an undefeated regular season for conference and tournament titles, garnering 2016 Conference and South Charlotte Weekly Coach of the Year honors.
Prior to starting at Davidson, Rosen spent seven years (July 2009-May 2016) as the girl's head volleyball coach at Charlotte Country Day School. During his tenure, he coached the program to an overall record of 169-66, earning two state championship and conference championship titles in 2013 and 2014. After those two stellar seasons, he was named the Charlotte Observer Coach of the Year. In 2012 and 2013, he was named the South Charlotte News & South Charlotte Weekly Coach of the Year. In addition, he was honored with the AVCA Thirty Under 30 award in 2013; one of just two high school coaches to receive the honor.
Since the start of his coaching career in 2005, Rosen has also spent time as a volunteer assistant coach at Winthrop and served as the head coach of the men and women's club volleyball teams at the University of South Carolina.
Rosen earned his bachelor's degree in Sport and Entertainment Management, graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina in 2008. He will be joined in Omaha by his wife Angelica and their daughters Bryce and Brady.

I was actually so nervous going into the camp, but once I got the to camp all of my nervousness went away. The coaches were all very nice and the camp was a comfortable place with everyone being very supportive. Not only was it enjoyable, I was able to talk to the coaches one-on-one, and get honest and thoughtful feedback to improve my athletic abilities and talents.
Before attending the EXACT Camp, I was very uneducated about college sports and didn't have a set school I was interested in, but this camp helped me have a better understanding of what to look for in the future.

Your showcase opened my daughter's eyes that she needs to start preparing now to fulfill her dream of being on a collegiate volleyball team. Her attitude is now focused on what she needs to do to achieve her goal. The college coaches were outstanding, and were very informative about what they expect, and do with their teams. It was our first EXACT showcase, but definitely not our last one we will attend in the upcoming future. Our overall experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you for everything, and connecting us to valuable college coaches.

The EXACT camp allowed me to gain valuable college exposure, talk to college coaches, and receive advice about becoming a student athlete. From this camp, I feel more confident in myself because of the positive feedback I received from the coaches, and encouragement from the girls I was with. The 1-on-1 evaluation from a college coach was extremely beneficial and will help me improve to become a more dynamic player!

I thought the EXACT Camp really gave me the extra push I needed to become a recruited college athlete. Being able to talk face to face with college coaches made me feel in control of the process. I loved the competition and I think I improved as a player over the course of the days. It was definitely the best camp I attended all summer.
